Charles was tried at Manchester in Lancashire on the 14th of April 1785 for stealing a linen handkerchief and a piece of ribbon.
Charles was sentenced to transportation for 7 years. He left England with the first fleet on board the Alexander.
John's occupation was listed as labourer.
He died during the journey.
