| George was tried at the Old Bailey in London on the 21st of April 1784, for burglary worth 13 shillings. He was sentenced to transportation for a period of 7 years leaving England with the first fleet on the Alexander.
He was aged about 20 years old on arrival. He had no occupation recorded. |
| George was arrested at 16 years of age. On 15 March 1789, he received 50 lashes for theft of flour. His partners in the crime were John Nurse, and George Robinson. Fathered a daughter with Ann Forbes in 1789. |
