George was tried at Maidstone in Kent on the 16th of March 1786, for stealing goods worth 9 shillings.
George was sentenced to transportation for 7 years. He left England with the first fleet on board the Alexander.
Georges occupation was recorded as Hairdresser and labourer.
On 29 December 1788 sentenced to receive 50 lashes for using 'improper expressions' about the marines.
