RESEARCHED BY PETER KILLACKEY JOSEPH LONGSTREET FIRST FLEET TRANSPORTEE b. 1755 - d. 1787 Joseph was tried at Marlborough in Wiltshire on the 5th of October 1784 for stealing wool of unknown value. Joseph was sentenced to transportation for 7 years. He left England with the first fleet on board the Alexander. Joseph's occupation was not recorded. Joseph did not reach Australia, dying during the historic journey.
