Michael was sentenced to transportation for 7 years. He left England with the first fleet on board the Alexander. Michael's occupation was not recorded. Michael was sentenced to 200 lashes on 26 December 1788 for stealing a bag of flour. He also received 25 lashes in May 1791 for neglect of duty.
