Robert was tried at Devizes in the county of Wiltshire on the 5th of April 1785, for stealing livestock (8 ducks, 9 hens) worth 40 shillings.
Robert was sentenced to transportation for 7 years.
Robert left England with the first fleet on board the Alexander. He died before reaching Australia.
