Robert was tried at Maidstone in the county of Kent on the 17th of March 1786, for stealing clothing worth 80 shillings.
Robert was sentenced to transportation for 7 years. He left England with the first fleet on board the Alexander.
Speared by Aborigines, Robert died in 1798.
