William was tried at Bristol in Gloucestershire on the 3rd of February 1785, for stealing clothing of unknown value.
William was sentenced to transportation for 7 years. He left England with the first fleet on board the Alexander.
Richard's occupation was not recorded. He was a member of the Nightwatch crew and left N.S.W. for India in October 1793.
Partner in the original crime was Edward Perrott.
Married Elizabeth Thomas on 19 October 1788. His wife did not go when he left for India in 1793.
