William was tried at Lincoln in Lincolnshire on the 9th of July 1785, for stealing a silver watch of unknown value.
William was sentenced to transportation for 7 years. He left England with the first fleet on board the Alexander.
The watch was stolen from the victim’s pocket.
William's occupation was not recorded. |
On 18 December 1790 he was ordered to work in a gang, following an assault on two seamen from Supply.
Married Mary Groves on 1st June 1788.
