Weather Situation

A weak high pressure ridge extending across southern Victoria will move over Tasmania during Wednesday. A high pressure system associated with the ridge will be located south of the Bight on Thursday while a low pressure trough develops over northern Victoria. The high will move eastwards on Friday as an upper level cold pool of air moves over western Victoria. By Saturday the trough over northern Victoria and the upper cold pool may weaken slightly as the high continues its slow progression eastwards.

Clear. Winds southerly averaging 15 to 20 km/h.

Wednesday 8 February

Sunny. Winds south to southeasterly averaging 15 to 25 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to around 10 with daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 20s.
