The Australian Parliamentary system involves two levels of government, the House of Representat-ives and the Senate.

1 duly elected Minister from every electorate around Australia makes up the House of Representatives. Together they run the day to day affairs of Government, introduce new laws, control government expenditure, determines the government, publicises and scrutinises government administration and it represents the people's wishes. The Senate consists of 76 seats (Senators), twelve from each of the six states and two from each of the mainland territories and provides an extra level of scrutiny for Parliament to make new laws.
