Horse Racing - The Dead Heat.

If two horses run a dead-heat for first place, each is judged a winner and prize money for the first two places is divided equally between them. This applies in dividing all prizes, whatever the number of horses involved. If two horses run a dead heat for second place and the first horse is disqualified, these horses become joint winners.
