The Jack In Ditch.

A jack in the ditch is still live, but may not be moved again except by a previous toucher or by a non-toucher that hits it without leaving the green. If these return the jack to the green it comes back into normal play. A jack remains in play if it rebounds from the far bank onto the rink.

Position Of The Jack May Be Marked

A jack's position in the ditch may be marked by an object about 2in. across, placed above the jack on the top of the bank.

A Toucher In A Ditch

Touchers in the ditch may be similarly marked.
