History The Royal Hustler Mine was the last mine site at Camp Hill on Bendigo goldfields during Australia’s gold rush era of the 1850s. Its first major occupier was government whom reputedly used the land as its main camp. Mutable tents were erected and used for the purposes of general post office, survey offices. It was granted to the community by government in 1857 and was established as a municipal park by 1862. Today the City of Greater Bendigo manages it at Rosalind Park.
